This year's challenge celebrates the joy of reading through music, rhythm, and creativity. Children can join the challenge at their local library and enjoy a summer filled with fantastic books, exciting activities, and special rewards as they progress through their reading journey. How does it work? Visit your local library to sign up for the challenge. Borrow and read books throughout the summer. Collect rewards and incentives as you complete reading milestones. Receive a certificate and medal (subject to local library arrangements) when you finish the challenge. Why take part? Dear families - Please see attached poster. Here we go again! Last year we smashed out a personal best, raising over £10,000 for charities. That money has helped make a huge difference. This year we are raising money for charities again. The charities are still to be announced. Live music will start on Saturday 25th July 12.00 noon – 8 pm Along with stalls, food, raffle and an auction with some amazing donations from near and far businesses to be had. Limited camping and day tickets are NOW available, and already in high demand. We always expect to sell out camping fast. Many thanks, White House Farm

Good morning. Just a quick reminder about Sports Day tomorrow. We will be starting at 1:15pm. The gates will open at around 1:00pm, once the children have finished their lunch. There will be chairs and benches available, but if you're able to, please bring your own chair as there will be plenty of space to watch from the hill, the near side of the track and around the finish line. The PTFA will also be selling ice creams and cold drinks on the playground during the afternoon, so please pop by and support them if you can. Children are still welcome to attend in their PE kits tomorrow. As year 6 are out on their transition days to SAX, they are more than welcome to come in on Thursday 2nd July in their own clothes with any hamper donations. Many thanks, Admin.

Sports Day In light of the extremely hot weather forecast for this week (including an 'Amber Warning of Extreme Heat'), we have unfortunately had to make the to difficult decision to postpone Sports Day.  This will now be held on Thursday 2 July 2026 at 1.00pm. We appreciate that parents, carers, and other family members will have booked time off work for this event.  We also considered moving Sports Day to the morning, however temperatures still look incredibly hot, even at 9.00am!  As we are sure you will appreciate, these decisions are not taken lightly and naturally, the health and safety of both children and adults has to come first; we can only sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Whether you love acting, singing or dancing, there's a place for you in this fun-filled community production! ✨ Principal Roles Take centre stage as one of our named characters, including Snow White, Prince Charming, the Wicked Queen, Muddles, the Dame and the Dwarfs. ✨ Ensemble Members Help bring the magic to life through acting, singing and group production numbers. Ensemble members often play a variety of characters throughout the show. ✨ Juvenile Dancers Young performers who love to dance and perform.
