Dear Parents and Carers, As we reach the end of another fun-filled academic year at Hunters Hall Primary School, I want to take a moment to reflect on everything our community has achieved. It has been a year filled with hard work, growth, and memorable moments, and I am incredibly proud of all our pupils. I would like to say a special and heartfelt goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 cohort. You have shown true resilience and bounded back from challenges that have appeared including the 2020 pandemic. It has been a pleasure being part of your journey. I wish you the very best of luck as you take your next big step into secondary school. I know you will continue to shine and thrive. Today also brings more mixed emotions as we say goodbye to three valued members of our staff team: Mrs Bibi, Mr Tucker, and Mr Allen. I thank them for their dedication, hard work, and the impact they have made on our school community. I wish them the absolute best of luck in their future chapters. As we head into the summer break, I want to remind all families to keep safety in mind. Whether you are spending time near water, playing over at Pondfield Park, or spending time online, please stay alert and stay safe. Check with your children who their 5 trusted adults are outside of school. Finally, a huge thank you to my incredible staff for their tireless dedication, and to you, our parents and carers, for your ongoing support, trust, and partnership. I look forward to welcoming returning families back on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 8:30am and wish those who are moving on to pastures new the very best for the future. Ukulele Club will be playing at the Rockwell Road entrance as you enter school on Monday morning. Please give them a listen as you pass by. They are also raising money for Musical Instruments. If you have any spare coins we would be grateful for any contributions in the collection buckets. They will also be performing on Wednesday Morning at Mr Bellevue's Coffee Morning. Please go to your child's usual collection point at 1pm and your child's teacher will dismiss in the usual way.

Despite trying to keep the children, staff and classrooms as cool as possible - this has been difficult today and with tomorrow's forecast being similar I will be allowing parents to collect their children after lunchtime at 1pm.

Due to the higher temperatures this week we have changed the dinner menu to a cold menu for the rest of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). Can you please go back into school grid and re select your child’s meal selections for those days. Many thanks.

Dear all, In order to cover the cost of any lost library books - the fee is increasing from £5 to 7.50. Hopefully we will not have to charge any families for any lost books.

Due to the fact that I do not want the children, families or staff exposed unnecessarily to the sun's rays and temperature, we will be cancelling the Years 1 to 6 sports day this week. Thank you for your understanding, M Kaitell Headteacher

Dear Parent/Carer, If your child's teacher or a member of the Pastoral team have agreed that your child requires a fidget item as part of their plan - this will be provided or approved by the school. All other items should not come into school. Today an unauthorised fidget cube burst and the contents went onto another child's dinner. Safety is paramount and if fidget toys have not been CE approved then they are a risk. I will be confiscating any item that is brought into school but has not been approved by one of my class teachers or the pastoral team. M Kaitell Headteacher
